December 2024 Lake Tawakoni Catfish Fishing Report
Blue Cats are good in 5 ft of water. Water temps 5 ft 50 degrees while 20 ft site at 54 degrees. Trolling with T-rigs 36 inches long with 7/0 circle hooks is producing fish from 10 to 60 plus range with medium to large size gizzard shad. Anchoring using T-rigs 24 to 30 inches with 5/0 circle hooks in under 10 ft of water. This is producing fish from 2 to 20 lbs using some larger on smaller cut shad and perch in 5 to 25 ft of water.
